Αγγελική ΓαβριήλογλουAngeliki Gavriiloglou

Angeliki Gavriiloglou has graduated from  the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (department of History and Archaeology). In 2018 she completed her Master’s degree at the International Hellenic University (department of Black Sea and Eastern Mediterranean studies). She currently is a PhD candidate at the Freie Universität Berlin ( department of Modern – Greek studies,  “Neogräzistik”).

She has participated at the project named “Mapping the memory. Jewish students of Salonika during WWII and the Holocaust.”, under the supervision of The Jewish Museum of Thessaloniki and the Department of Jewish studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. 

 


 

Ξένια ΕλευθερίουXenia Eleftheriou

Xenia Eleftheriou is a Phd Candidate at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (History Didactics). Her postgraduate research (MA dissertation) "Public History as a Controversial Issue: The example of the Worldwide Web about Holocaust in Greece" received in 2019 the Excellence Scholarship of the Jewish Community of Thessaloniki. The research was published by publisher "Taxideftis". She has collaborated, as scientific associate, with the Curator of the Jewish Museum of Thessaloniki, Dr. Evangelos Hekimoglou, for conducting educational seminars on the Museum.   


 

 

Νίκος ΚέκερηςNikos Kekeris

Nikos Kekeris is a PhD student at AUTH Law School researching on economic antisemitism in Thessaloniki during the Holocaust. He was awarded a scholarship from International Hellenic University for his postgraduate thesis on Nazi-looted art. He grew up in Arnea Halkidiki, studied and worked in Thessaloniki and Xanthi. He works at the Ministry of Migration & Asylum and is a certified trainer for the European Asylum Support Office (EASO). 


  

  

 

Δρ. Ανδρέας ΜπουρούτηςDr. Andreas Bouroutis

Andreas Bouroutis is the scientific project leader of the programme “Postwar transformations of Thessaloniki and the fate of the Jewish assets”.

An Economist – Historian/Political Scientist, he has received his PhD from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki where he teaches at the School of Political Sciences (ac. year 2020-21)

His book “Holocaust in Thessaloniki: The Italian role and the Jewish students of Umberto Primo” has been published by Alexandria publications (Athens 2020)

 


 

 

Σοφία ΧριστοφορίδουSofia Christoforidou

Sofia Christoforidou is a journalist with 20 years worth of working experience in newspapers, radio, television and online media. For the last eleven years she has been a journalist with Thessaloniki's major daily «Makedonia», as a reporter and editor. She also works as a freelancer with www.insidestory.gr. 

She is  a member of  the Journalists' Union Of Macedonia & Thrace Daily Newspapers. 

She holds a BA degree in European Studies (Hellenic Open University) and a MA in Journalism and New Media (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki).
